The Determination Class Dreadnaught was a large starship created by the Earth Empire Navy. It was prototyped during the events of the Skregg War.

DevelopmentEdit

The Determination Project was spearheaded at New Chicago Shipyards after the events of Earth-Link Zero. It was intended to be a powerful warship used to fight off the massive reaver ships built by the Skregg. The first ship of her class, the Determination, was was built quickly over several months during the "Shipyard Boom." The final result was, as dubbed by ship tender Danyl'Al of the Terra Novans, "800 Earth Meters of pure, inspired determination."

The Determination prototype was equipped with a prototype "Thor's Hammer" beam cannon, ten fixed, side-mounted Lancer Cannons, ten fold-in Slipper Cannon turrets on the top of the beam cannon amplification system, and six longbow cannons for its forward weapons; it includes a large, three-barreled "Boom-Boom" Flak cannon, and a large EMP Blast Cannon as its rear weapons.

"Thor's Hammer"Edit

The Determination's beam cannon has only been used in times of extreme situations. When the beam cannon's Amplification system was deployed, the covers on the top of the hull opened and swept back. The Slipper cannons folded back and in, acting as air vents for the ship's ten massive heat sinks/energy collectors. When the amplification system was deployed, "Thor's Hammer" was able to fire. It had enough power to destroy three Skregg dreadnoughts and even a small moon, as was the case in the battle of Xer'Xalat, when the ship's tactical officer "accidentally" knocked a Skregg moon into the planet Xer'Xalat, destroying both. The Determination was the sole survivor of the battle.
